NCSF Academic Programs

The National Council on Strength & Fitness partners with hundreds of colleges, universities, high schools as well as vocational career based schools to deliver our NCCA accredited programs in both degree seeking and standalone certificate models.

Certified Personal Trainer

The NCSF-CPT credential represents a documented competency for employers and those looking for qualified practitioners with a higher-level skill set. All NCSF exams can be offered on campus, on-demand. This credential qualifies students to enter the United States Registry of Exercise Professionals (USREPS).

Sport Nutrition Specialist

The Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS) program covers all the key elements of nutrition for the exercise professional. The course is an ideal blend of nutrition in function and application, and covers relevant subjects to prepare students to competently employ the knowledge in the field. The program can be run independently but heavily complements both the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and the Certified Strength Coach (CSC) Programs in content and curricular synergy.

Certified Strength Coach

The Certified Strength Coach (CSC) course provides the most relevant, up-to-date information in the field and teaches students how to be successful on the job. It allows professors and instructors to lead students through the comprehension of evaluation, design, and implementation of sports-based training programs. Supported by hundreds of videos and related teaching aids this credential is clearly the new standard in the industry.
